Qualification for registration:
Everyone holding a legal identification document can register without discrimination of nationality.。

Registration Methods & Dates:

1. Walk-in: personally or through a representative (until 6^th Dec. 2008)
• Has to fill in registration form along with valid ID/passport copy and registration fee；
• Upon confirmation, a "Receipt" used for collection of number bib and chip from 5^th December to 6^th December at Macau Stadium (Taipa) will be given to the athlete.
  
  
2. By mail (Until 21^st Nov. 2008, Friday, 5:30pm)
• Fill in the registration form, together with the valid ID copy/membership copy, Bank Draft (details) and post it to any of the address.
• Upon confirmation, a "Receipt" used for collection of number bib and chip from 5^th December to 6^th December at Macau Stadium (Taipa) will be given to the athlete.

• Year 2007 Participants
  • Participants who submitted their applications for 2007 registration will receive email notification or may directly visit the website and create their personal online accounts, browse last year’s individual records and use online express registration.
• New applicants / Non Year 2007 Participants
  • Login to www.macaumarathon.com and complete the application procedure. Upload a clear scanned copy of valid ID/passport [suggested image resolution 150 dpi and uploaded file size limit 1.5 MB] Note: local Macau athletes affiliated to the Macau Athletic Association should upload a scanned copy of their valid membership card.
  
  
• Notes:
  • Upon completion of Step 1 of online registration procedure, the participant’s application will have a pending status, and the applicant will need to download or print the "Application Receipt".
    
  • Upon verification of registration information by the Organisers, successful applicants will receive a confirmation notice by email
    
  • Athletes must keep their "Application Receipt", which will be used for collection of their number BIB, chip and event information in Macau Stadium between 5th and 6th December 2008.
    
  • Non-local athletes, who applied online under the category of "local athletes" and paid registration fees applicable to local athletes, will be disqualified from registering, and their applications will not be approved by the Organisers. Disqualified applicants will receive an "unsuccessful registration" notice by email and will need to contact the Organisers immediately to rectify their status and seek approval of their their registration from the Organisers.
    
  • Local athletes are considered those holding Macau Resident's ID cards
    - Only VISA and MASTERCARD are accepted for payment
    
    
4.  Change of race：
• All changes of race required under special circumstances will be decided upon by the Organisers. Athletes must clearly state the reasons for the change of race and submit their applications written on or before 21 November, 2008, together with the fee of MOP/HKD100.00
  
• The difference in registration fees will not be refunded to athletes changing their registration status from Marathon or Half Marathon to Mini Marathon, and those athletes changing their registration from Mini Marathon to Marathon or Half Marathon will be required to pay the respective difference in registration fees.
• All applications will be evaluated by the Organisers, in case of disapproval administration fee of MOP/HKD 100.00 will be refunded.

Remarks: Registration by Fax is not available. Upon confirmation, the ownership of the registration cannot be transfered. Registration cannot be cancelled and is not refundable. If the Organizer discovered that there’s athlete registered again using different dates to apply for another category/race, all registration fees will not refundable and his participation will be cancelled. Please keep the receipt properly as it won’t be issued anymore.
